O governo federal divulgou nesta segunda-feira, 26, os dias de feriados nacionais e de ponto facultativo do ano de 2012 para cumprimento pelos órgãos e entidades da administração pública federal direta, autárquica e fundacional do Poder Executivo. O primeiro feriado nacional é dia 1º de janeiro. Já os dias 20 e 21 de fevereiro (segunda e terça-feira de Carnaval) é considerado ponto facultativo, assim como a quarta-feira de Cinzas (22 de fevereiro) até às 14 horas.
Dia 6 de abril, sexta-feira em que celebra-se a Paixão de Cristo, também será ponto facultativo. O dia 21 de abril, é feriado nacional, dia de Tiradentes, e o dia 1º de maio, Dia Mundial do Trabalho. O dia 7 de junho, dia de Corpus Christi, é considerado também ponto facultativo. Os outros feriados são o dia 7 de setembro, dia da Independência do Brasil; 12 de outubro, dia de Nossa Senhora Aparecida; 28 de outubro, dia do Servidor Público (feriado da categoria); 2 de novembro (Finados); 15 de novembro (Proclamação da República); 25 de dezembro (Natal). Os dias 24 de dezembro e 31 de dezembro são ainda considerados ponto facultativo.
As datas dos feriados foram publicadas no Diário Oficial da União desta segunda-feira, em portaria do ministério do Planejamento.
Nota do Blog: Some-se a essas datas, todos os sábados onde uma grande maioria não trabalha, dia da santa ou santos da cidade, dia de fundação da cidade, além de todos os domingos, sobra muito pouco para produzir. Para um povo que gosta de pão e circo é um prato cheio.
